Hi, my name is Daniel and I am the managing member and attorney at Vashon Law Firm. I am available to lawyers and firms for legal contract work. I am not currently accepting contingency fee matters.
I was born and raised in Tacoma. Before opening Vashon Law Firm, I practiced for years in Seattle, interned at the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, and worked at boutique litigation firms. Over the course of my legal career, I have represented unions in federal court and labor arbitrations, guided nonprofits and small business through formation and drafting contracts, and helped hundreds of people as clients.
My colleagues frequently consult me regarding emerging legal issues. I have been asked to speak on law at the University of Washington and Evergreen State College. My writing on legal topics has been published in the Washington International Law Journal, the Evans School Review, and the WSAJ Trial News, which recently featured my article on Seattle’s Wage Theft Ordinance:
When not practicing law, I can be found building homes, serving on the Board of Directors for Vashon HouseHold, or sauntering around Vashon-Maury Island with my partner, Gedney Barclay, and our adorable dogs.
